Winners of the National Talent Competition 2025!

What a way to kick off 2025 with the National Talent Competition and Open Mic 2025. The show featured an Open mic session which gave opportunities for artists to showcase their talents publicly and build a fan base, it was good to see local artists step up, perform and enjoy themselves on stage.

Shortly after was the main event (Talent Competition) with 2 categories which was the under and over 18’s. This was actually the first time we decided to include both categories at the live show after a popular demand from the UTUK community.

There was 7 acts in each category with a panel of Judges giving feedback after each performance, Judges included Jade Voice, Danielle Blenman and 2 new Judges Frost from So Solid and Alexander Roth a former recording artist and now professional wrestler. The line up was couldn’t be better!

All the acts was absolutely brilliant, there was a variety of talent on stage from Singers, Duos, Rappers and Spoken Word, but unfortunately no dance groups this time around. The panel of Judges had a hard Job of choosing a winner after an audience vote for the final 3.

Host DJ J Man and Co Host Bianca Maria couldn’t believe the talent was so high at this show and mentioned a few times (I wouldn’t like to be Judge with all this talent) but our panel of Judges are industry professionals and came to their decision amongst themselves.

The final 3 announced from the Under 18’s in no particular order was Ashlee Pedro, Zayne and Grace Rose Nettle. As the anticipation was in the air and everyone excited to hear the result it was time to announce the winner. In 3rd place was Zayne, 2nd place Ashlee and the winner of the UTUK National Talent Competition 2025 Under 18’s is Grace Rose Nettle.

For the Over 18’s the final 3 in no particular order announced was kyro, Modeste and Tunay. All the acts was amazing but being a competition there could only be one winner. In 3rd place was Tunay, 2nd place Kyro and winner of the 2025 UTUK National Competition Over 18’s is Modeste. Congratulations to both winners in each category.

Huge shoutout to DJ Greeny always keeping the energy flowing with good music and vibes and especially with those sound effects. Once again Team UTUK produced another amazing show and we can’t wait for next year’s competition. A huge thank you to all that attended, we really appreciate all the support to make a successful show every year.
